Support Temps: About Us
Support Temps is a relief staffing service for the disability support sector in Northern NSW and the Gold Coast, designed to fill gaps in service delivery with well-trained, quality support staff.
Our support workers are experienced, vaccinated, trained in Covid-19 infection control and available for temporary, short-term and long-term support between Lismore NSW and the northern Gold Coast.

Scope of service: How can Support Temps support you?
Support Temps provides Disability Support Workers to providers of disability support services, as well as providing direct support to NDIS participants whose funds are plan managed or self managed.
The services we provide include:
● Medication support
● Personal care
● Domestic support
● Community access
● Sleepover and active night support
● Transport
Our Support Workers are available for short-term, long-term and recurring bookings - all within NDIS Price Guide Limits.
We aim to make the provision of disability support services as easy as possible. Providers and participants request staff as needed, and we match their request with support staff of suitable skills and experience.

Do you have COVID-19 trained Support Workers?
Yes! All of our Disability Support Workers are vaccinated against Covid-19 and trained in infection prevention.
What certifications do your Support Workers have?
Support Temps ensures that all Support Workers we supply are compliant with State and Federal legislation, and NDIS requirements. This includes ensuring that Support Workers possess and maintain the following certifications:
● NDIS worker screening check/National police check/Qld yellow card
● First aid certificate
● COVID-19 vaccination certificate
● Driver licence
● NDIS worker orientation module certificate
● Infection control (COVID-19) training certificate
● Working with children check (for staff required to work with minors)
● Any additional certification required by evolving State or Federal legislation or the NDIA.
● All Support Temps Contractors are covered by public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

What are the Service Costs and Payments?
All services we offer are within NDIS price limits. Please contact us directly for any queries you may have.

Yes, all services we offer are covered by the NDIS Price Guide and within NDIS price limits.
I am a Support Worker. Why should I work with Support Temps?
Working with us at Support Temps, the work is designed to fit around your existing commitments, with daytime, nighttime and weekend work available. You're also free to accept or reject shifts, take time away, and limit your availability to what suits you, which is a nice advantage over casual employment and provides a nice level of flexibility for you. We offer rewarding pay and a supportive and friendly team.
We engage people as Contractors, so you use your ABN and are responsible for your own tax and super. The only strict requirement is that, if you book a shift, you don't cancel it unless you are sick.
